Bath Blankets are made from cotton yarns and napped on both sides for a soft flannel surface that will minimize pilling. They are great for a multitude of purposes – soft, warm, comfortable, and highly absorbent.

These blankets are perfect for blanket drills!
They make a great modifier for ADL’s, such as folding or spreading as a sheet over a Sprint flo-through mat (like setting a bed) while wet, emphasizing tactile response while subtly strengthening and forcing increased sequencing and problem solving skills.
Under the proper training, these blankets can be a perfect tool in your arsenal of sensory integration as well as desensitization techniques.

Inertia’s Analysis:
In all honesty, training body mechanics with lifting tech and core stabilization is almost second nature with the resistance tray/kickboard combo. I tend to prefer the bigger blue kickboards for the size and resistance, but many of my older and smaller clients have a hard time with the buoyancy, so the team kickboards work best for them. And of course, they both work fine for swimming.

Inertia’s Analysis:
For the heavy resistance, I am a big fan of the Hydrotones! But these little paddles pack a big punch. The flat sides allow for adjustable and patterned resistance, but for Parkinson’s patients, actually forms a hydrodynamic flow that actually helps initiate gait patterns and facilitate arm swing. As the paddles move through the water, the angle changes—causing a dynamic stabilization approach (I believe is similar to an aquatic Body Blade).

I like the versatility of these wraps. Their Velcro style makes them quickly adjustable. As a supine float, they can be applied loosely for comfort and quick portability. Or they can be for isolated resistance or assistance of movement. applied snuggly to an ankle, wrist, or to forearm, thigh or upper arm for isolated resistance or assistance of movement.

A simple plastic tray? (12″ X 16″ with a 5/8″ lip). The lip allows the tray to float/skim on the surface of the water allowing a miniature table to place/balance items making it the perfect accessory for other exercises or activities. They cause a tremendous amount of resistance when used under the water allowing for powerful upper body exercise. They are perfect for static or dynamic balance exercise and it is my favorite “lifting box” allowing for adjustable resistance/load dependent upon the speed it is moved.

Yes, I scoured the lands and hand picked these trays. I was flabbergasted at how hard it was to find a simple plastic tray that was appropriate for aquatic exercise and activities. So I bring this to you…buy one at a time or in bulk!
