Lynette Jamison, MOT, OTR/L
Lynette completed her master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University. Her career has incorporated Occupational Therapy services into a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, psychosocial services, aquatic rehab, hand rehab, work hardening, and lymphedema.
Jamison served as the Director of Aquatics and Rehabilitation for 10 years at the Desert Pain Institute in Mesa, AZ. There, she consulted with the designers to develop the only peroxide therapy pool in the Mesa area. Lynette was the second recipient of the Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute (ATRI) Aquatic Therapy Professional of the Year Award.
Lynette has published the only commercially available aquatic therapy Policy & Procedure Manual, 2 aquatic therapy text books, “A Team Approach to Aquatic Rehabilitation” and “Aquatic Therapy Using PNF Patterns”, several chapters in other books, and numerous articles on lymphedema, Fibromyalgia, and aquatic therapy.
Lynette is certified by the Dr. Vodder School of North America to use Manual Lymph Drainage® to treat patients with lymphedema. She is now developing lymphedema treatment programs for Phoenix Baptist Hospital.
